Biblical view: Obedience is not bondage but union with God’s love. God is love, and everything He speaks flows from love. To obey is to remain within love’s life-giving order.

2) All Creation Obeys God’s Word (Love’s Order) 8–10 min
Key Point: Heaven and earth abide in obedience to God’s Word—not because God rules harshly, but because His Word flows from love, ensuring goodness and flourishing. Anything contrary to love is incompatible with His creative intention and is ultimately rejected.

Illustration: As gravity orders the physical world, God’s Word orders moral and spiritual reality. We don’t break it; we break ourselves against it.
3) Christ: The Model of Loving Obedience 10 min
Key Point: Jesus is our perfect example. He embodied obedience out of love for the Father and love for us, learning obedience through suffering.

Key Point: Obedience aligns us with God’s love and flourishing; disobedience separates us from it. These outcomes are already woven into creation—they are not arbitrary punishments.
“See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil… I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, loving the LORD your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him.”

Key Point: Each day we align with love through trust, surrender, and practice. We keep His Word because we love Him, and His commands are not burdensome.

Prayer
